For superannuation funds, advice groups & insurers

Turn a dormant member base into advised relationships — at scale.

Vecta is an AI digital adviser — a human, speaking presence that helps each member set goals, work through their real circumstances and receive genuine, personal digital advice. A qualified adviser approves every recommendation before it reaches a member.

01 · The problem

Most of your member base is silent.

Members join through default, employer or product channels — and the relationship never deepens. At the moments that matter most — consolidation, life events, retirement — they disengage or leave, because personal guidance has never been economic to deliver at scale.

~1 in 10

Australians receive advice

The overwhelming majority of members make their biggest financial decisions without any professional guidance.

$4,000+

for comprehensive advice

The cost of one-to-one advice puts it out of reach for exactly the members who need it most.

−45%

fewer advisers since 2019

The adviser workforce has roughly halved. Human capacity cannot close the advice gap on its own.

The institutions that re-engage these members first will own the relationship. The rest become a balance sheet others draw down.

Why now —

The Retirement Income Covenant asks trustees to help every member — not just the engaged few.

Since 2022, funds have been required to have a strategy for members' retirement outcomes across their whole membership. With the Delivering Better Financial Outcomes reforms expanding what funds can deliver, the question is no longer whether to offer guidance at scale — it's how. Vecta is built to be the answer.

02 · What Vecta is

A face members talk to. An engine that reasons.

Vecta doesn't serve generic content. It works through a member's circumstances the way an adviser would — starting with what the member actually wants from life, and connecting every recommendation back to it. That is what digital advice should mean: an AI adviser that reasons, with a human who answers for it.

The experience

A digital adviser members open up to

A human, speaking avatar that members talk to in plain language — no forms, no triage queue. Members share more when the conversation feels personal, and better inputs mean better advice.

The method

Goals first, strategies second

Vecta develops each member’s goals, then links them to concrete strategies — contributions, consolidation, insurance, drawdown. Advice lands because members can see why it’s theirs.

The product

Reasoning, not content

Underneath the conversation is a financial reasoning engine that interprets each member’s actual position and drafts genuine personal advice with supporting documentation.

03 · How it works

Four steps. One human gate.

01

Member engages

A member asks a question in plain language — to an AI adviser that speaks back. No forms, no triage queue.

02

Vecta reasons

The engine interprets the member’s actual position, develops their goals, and drafts personal advice with supporting documentation.

03

Adviser approves

A qualified adviser reviews and signs off before anything reaches the member — every time.

04

System learns

Reviewer edits feed back as labelled signal, so accuracy rises and review cost falls with every interaction.

A human-in-the-loop gate on every piece of personal advice.

04 · Built for regulated deployment

The part that determines whether a member-facing system is usable at all.

The default posture is conservative: nothing reaches a member that an adviser and an auditor couldn't stand behind.

Adviser-gated advice

Personal advice is released by adviser sign-off — never autonomously.

Regulatory-grade artefacts

Every interaction produces compliance artefacts and a complete audit trail, by default.

Data domiciled in Australia

Member data is held under enterprise-grade security controls and never moved offshore.

Conservative by default

Designed for institutions that cannot take on unmanaged advice risk.

05 · Who it's for

Large, under-engaged member bases.

Institutions where one-to-one personal advice has been uneconomic — and where digital advice changes the equation: converting a passive member base into engaged, advised, retained relationships.

Superannuation funds

Re-engage default and employer-channel members before consolidation moments are decided elsewhere — and meet Retirement Income Covenant obligations for the whole membership.

Advice groups

Multiply adviser capacity. Let qualified advisers supervise many advised relationships instead of servicing a few — without lowering the standard of what goes out.

Insurers & health funds

Deepen product-channel relationships that today begin and end at the policy. Turn membership into an advised relationship members have a reason to keep.

06 · Where we are

In pilot, with the people who'll shape it.

Vecta is being built alongside a small number of design partners — institutions working with us to prove the model inside the compliance perimeter before it scales. Founding partners shape the product and the terms. And it isn't our first time building advice technology the industry runs on: our founders built AdviserLogic, the financial planning software used by ~1,500 advisers across 550 practices, acquired by Morningstar in 2019.

The conversation is the entry point. The reasoning underneath it is the product. The compliance perimeter is where it lives.
